Today launches a newly renovated version of the IP Mall. The IP Mall is among the oldest open access IP content collections on the Web, coming online in the early 1990's at the same time as USPTO and WIPO. It has undergone numerous renovations over its twenty year history. The content collections grow every year. It is more difficult now than twenty years ago to find unique content as government and NGO sites now devote resources to their IP content collections online.

Now Playing at the IP Mall : The Collected Works of Karl F. Jorda

Jorda Collection - Emeritus Professor Bill Hennessey recently returned from a trip to Florida where he had an opportunity tp visit Emeritus Professor Karl Jorda who is enjoying his final retirement. Professor Jorda taught at UNH Law for decades. He was the global ambassador for all things IP at the law school. He traveled to all parts of the world flying the UNH Law flag and lecturing on topics including the complimentariness of patents and trade secrets, win/win licensing, IP managment and more.

Now Playing at the IP Mall : The UNH Law Sports Law Repository

The UNH Law Sports Law Repository was a collaborative effort between the IP Mall and Professor Michael McCann, Director of the UNH Law Sports Law Institute. Prof. McCann approached me with the idea of offering unique sports law related content, not on the web as well as hosting other content for a "one stop shop" for sports lawyers and professionals. The site was under development for a year with the assistance of Gradaute Programs student Razan Taha.

Today at the IP Mall, the secret thirty five year paper collection of the Pacific Intellectual Property Association (PIPA) is revealed. Emeritus Professor Karl Jorda always taught that licensing negotiations could only be successful if relationships were built with Asian negotiators. They held secrets until they trusted the U.S. licensing professionals and lawyers.

Bayh Dole Central was created several years ago I was approached by Visting Professor Karen Hersey who had been longtime IP Counsel for MIT. It was the 30th anniversay of the Bayh Dole Act, described below. She requested the IP Mall to create a site to commemorate the Act and the founding fathers. These men would be but a footnote in history at best.
