The UNH Law Library has been busy all summer getting ready for the next semester. One of the improvements we made was reorganizing the books in the Academic Success Annex (ASA).
Previously, ASA books were grouped together on the shelf according to the series (Nutshell, Examples & Explanations, etc.) that they were part of. Now, all of the study aids from this collection are grouped according to their subject matter and they are in the library catalog too.
This also means that the call numbers on the spine of the ASA books can be used to find books housed elsewhere in the library. For example the study guide Contracts: Keyed to Farnsworth's Casebook on Contracts, can be found in the ASA collection under the call number KF801.A7 H54 2009. If you go to the first floor of the library where all of the treatises in the main collection are kept, you will find loads of other books on contracts in the KF801 section, including Farnsworth on Contracts!
Some things haven’t changed however. The Annex is still located on the second floor of the library, it is to your right when you walk in the main library entrance. Of course there are loads of comfy chairs and tables, but if you’d prefer to study at home, you can always borrow books from the ASA for up to 72 hours.
