Print Resources
The library houses a substantial print collection located primarily on the first and third floors of the library. To locate an item in the print collection, search MELcat or the USS.
Microforms
The library's present collection contains over 220,000 volumes in book and microform equivalent volumes. The microform collection is housed on the first floor of the library in a room just off the area by the printers. To locate an item in the print collection, search MELcat or the USS.
The library has several microform reader/printers including one digital reader/printer. Please ask a librarian for assistance.
Reserve Materials
Popular study aids, hornbooks, and DVDs are on reserve shelved behind the circulation desk. Ask the desk attendant for the material to check out.
You can also search MELcat for Course Reserves by course name or professor.
Reference Materials
A modest general reference collection including legal dictionaries, directories and encyclopedias is located on the second (main) floor adjacent to library staff offices. The Encyclopedia Britannica is also available electronically.
Treatises
In addition to primary legal sources and periodicals, the first and third floors of the library house the main and IP treatise collections, which include monographs, practice and procedure sets, form books, and loose-leaf services. To locate books in these collections, search MELcat or the USS.
