Did you know LexisNexis® is the first to offer Twitter feeds from Congress?

More than 140 Congressional Twitter feeds are now available as part of the Lexis Newstex offering.
The Congressional tweets can be searched by topic or member of Congress. The content is in the group news files, the Newstex Blogs file, and the Newstex Government & Politics Blogs file. To search Congressional tweets, include the following in your search string: PUB (SEN OR REP). This will retrieve any tweet authored by a senator or representative. If you are looking for tweets by a specific Congressperson, include his/her last name in the PUB field. Ex. PUB (SEN AND MCCAIN).
Pictures are available as well! When California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger had lunch with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, he took a picture and posted it on his Twitter page. The picture is mentioned in a Newstex blog along with a link so you can see it online with one click from lexis.com®!
In addition, if the author of a blog is also tweeting the URL to the author’s Twitter page, it's often available at the end of the full-text result.
