Big News - Many New Databases!

Big Exciting Database News! Many new databases are now available to UNH Law Faculty as a result of our integration with the University of New Hampshire and as the library focuses on emerging digital collections.

Early American Newspapers and Imprints
Due to our integration with UNH we now have access to the Early American Newspapers and Early American Imprints databases from Readex. Over 1600 newspapers from across the United States, from 1690 to 1922, are full text searchable and available to download in pdf format. Additionally, many historical books are also available in eBook format in the America’s Historical Imprints collection.

US Congressional Serial Set
If you’re looking for legislative history, the United States Congressional Serial Set is now available electronically. According to Readex, this set includes “every publication from the 15th Congress through the 103rd Congress, including items missing from other editions, the Readex U.S. Congressional Serial Set, 1817-1994 contains over 415,000 individual documents in more than 14,000 volumes. Designed for legislative and historical research, the Readex digital edition features unique browse capabilities and comprehensive metadata, offering new research opportunities for students and scholars in cultural, economic, ethnic, government, military, political and science history and other fields. Readex uses the original volumes to create fine new digital images of every publication, including approximately 72,000 maps. Nearly 14,000 maps and more than 8,000 illustrations appear in high-resolution color.”
