LexisNexis Web Courses down today, Feb. 17, 2014

The LexisNexis law school portal, where you sign up for training, access your Web Courses and get other information, is currently down. Lexis reports that it should be back online by the end of the day. We'll post updates as we get them.

Summer Access to Westlaw, LexisNexis and BloombergLaw

Your Westlaw and LexisNexis passwords will only have limited summer access unless you renew. You can renew your passwords if you meet certain criteria.


You may renew your Westlaw password if you meet any of these categores:

TODAY: Cost Effective Legal Research

How does legal research really work outside of law school? What does "in plan" mean? The library is presenting a bite-sized afternoon of cost effective legal research training. Stay for one, two, three, four, or all presentations. All events are taking place in the OTC (library classroom, first floor). Pizza is from Constantly Pizza. (full schedule below)

LexisNexis Menu Change and Correction

Update: As of 7/6/11 it looks like the problem is fixed.

LexisNexis has (inadvertantly?) changed the menu format on law school accounts. Luckily, this is easy to change back. At the top of the screen there is a " Change Menu" option. Simply selected "LEXIS-NEXIS law school" and you'll be back to the same LexisNexis that you know and love.


Summer Electronic Resources

Westlaw and LexisNexis may not be available to you in the summer unless you are taking a course, working at an agency or non-profit, or working as a TA. (Full details are available on the first screen after logging in for both Westlaw and LexisNexis.)

However, there are many other resources that are available to you off campus as a UNH Law student. For example:
